
Student exchangesCongratulations to your choice of choosing SLU as you host university for your exchange period! Who is an exchange student?Exchange students are students who come from one of SLU’s partner universities. You can be an exchange student within the Erasmus programme, within the NOVA or ELLS network or coming from a university that has a bilateral agreement with SLU. To make sure that you fit into one of these categories, contact your international Office at your home university. If you are interested in studying at SLU as an exchange student, begin by contacting the International Office/Study Abroad Office at your home university or department. To be able to be admitted to SLU as an exchange student your home university has to nominate you. In order to be admitted to a course you also have to fulfil the prerequisites. ApplicationThe deadlines for exchange students to apply to SLU are the 15th of October for the spring semester and the 15th of April for the fall semester or academic year. Do not forget to enclose an official transcript of your academic record (an official document with all the courses you have taken on university level), in English and with ECTS credits (or information about credit system.
