Compulsory parts of the courses "Independent project/degree project" (= "Självständigt arbete")

Welcome to the courses "Independent project/degree project" (= "Självständigt arbete") in biology, soil science, chemistry, technology, food science, agricultural sciences and environmental sciences at C, D, and E level. This is a common homepage for the compulsory parts of these courses. On this page you can find the schedule for the compulsory parts, which are organized for all courses together by Maria Kahlert.

There are three compulsory parts which have different levels:

  1. Introduction to SLU library, level 3 (literature search, critical view on literature sources)
  2. Scientific writing and oral presentation (level 1 and 2) 
  3. Research ethics (level 1 and 3)

Schedule spring 2012 period 3

1. Library Lecture (3 alternatives):

2. Research Ethics

(2 levels. If you did first level already, you only need to come to second lecture, otherwise please participate in both):

  • Tuesday 17 January 15-17 (language: English): Introduction into Research Ethics, level 3 (Magister and Masters students*). Per Sandin, Senior Lecturer, NL-faculty. Locality:  C-185202  Sal B, Assembly Hall (Undervisninghuset), Undervisningsplan 8.

* Bachelor students can participate as well
