Professor i Företagsekonomi med inriktning entreprenörskap på landsbygden vid Institutionen för ekonomi

Presentation

Johan arbetar med forskning, undervisning och administration. På forskningssidan är han koordinator för EIS, en grupp som arbetar med forskning kring Entreprenörskap och innovation för hållbar utveckling. Johan forskningsintresse är för tillfället riktat mot hur entreprenörskap formar landsbygd och hur landsbygd formar entreprenörskap.

EIS utvecklar och driver lejonparten av de företagsekonomiska kurser som ges vid institutionen. 

Undervisning

Johan har under lång tid drivit kurser om organisation, ledarskap, marknadsföring och vetenskaplig metod. För tillfället ansvarar han för masterkursen Leadership and sustainability.

Johan är vice ordförande i UN, Utbildningsnämnden, som ansvarar för alla SLUs utbildningar. Han har tex varit akademisk ledare i det så kallade fördubblingsprojektet.

Forskning

Johan driver för tillfället Landsbygdens nycklar, ett Kampradfinansierat forskningsprojekt om hur entreprenörskap fungerar på landsbygden. Under senare år har hans forskning handlat om att bättre försöka förstå hur entreprenörskap hänger ihop med omgivningen eller kontexten.

Handledning

Johan är engagerad som handledare för sju doktorander varav fyra som huvudhandledare.
