About CRU

CRU's main function is to increase the knowledge on reproduction in animals and humans by applying a comprehensive view on reproductive biology. To arrange conferences, seminars, workshops and postgraduate training activities are key components in this work.

CRU aims

• Increase knowledge on reproduction in animals and humans, by applying a comprehensive view on reproductive biology.
• Develop the reproductive biology network in Uppsala and co-ordinate ongoing activities to stimulate collaboration between the two universities.
• To strengthen the position of reproductive biology internationally.
• Stimulate international collaboration within reproductive biology at the two universities.
• Develop large interdisciplinary research projects.
• Facilitate efficient use of analytic equipment and other physical resources at the two universities.
• Increase mobility of teachers and other human resources between the universities.

Within the area of reproduction, workshops, symposia, seminars, and PhD-courses are organized, and research programmes are developed. Activities are detailed in the CRU calendar.

Membership

Membership in CRU is free of charge and open for scientists at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and Uppsala University. However, courses, workshops etc are open for all interested, not only for members.
