International congress
To strengthen research cooperation within the area, the research platform Future Animal Health and Welfare on 14-16 June 2015 organized an interdisciplinary international congress on obesity in animals, Animal Obesity - causes, consequences and comparative aspects.
Seminars
Future Animal Health and Welfare arranges seminars in two series; one within the Lifestyle initiative where international guests present current research, and another called Future perspectives in which renowned experts give popular science talks, describing their thoughts on future development in different areas.
Workshops
Within the Lifestyle initiative workshops are organized. These activities strengthen collaboration between different disciplines within SLU, as well as between SLU and external actors.
