Sixteen new professors at SLU in Uppsala will be presented in this years' installation ceremony. They will give their installation lectures in “Loftet”, Ultuna, on March 15 to 16.

The topics range from large to small. For instance, Sara Hallin describes her work on microorganisms that can reduce emissions of the powerful greenhouse gas nitrous oxide (laughing gas), while Lars Roepstorff tells us about research that can reduce the risk for injuries in high performance sport horses.

Four of the sixteen professors have been recruited from institutions abroad, and will deliver their lectures in English. The other lectures will be in Swedish, as indicated by their lecture titles.

Time: Thursday 15th and Friday 16th of March, 2012
Location: The Loft, Duhrevägen 8, Ultuna, Uppsala. Find your way.
Programme: see below

No registration is needed, everyone is welcome to the lectures!
