Strategies and evaluations

Future Challenges, the new strategy of SLU, is among other things based upon Quality and Impact 2009, an evaluation of SLU's research and environmental monitoring and assessment.

SLU's evaluations

Quality and Impact is an evaluation that was ready in december 2009, and that includes both the scientific quality and the impact the research has on society. Quality and Impact resulted among other things in four interdisciplinary platforms, Research that includes several faculties.

SLU's strength

SLU’s special strength is its combination of solid curiosity-driven research and
well-developed operations relating to the need for knowledge, competence
supply and innovations in the fields of agriculture and forestry,
animal husbandry, animal health, aquaculture, fisheries, landscape
architecture, rural development, etc.
