REDD+ policy and links to LULUCF/AFOLU sector climate policy

In the on-going negotiations for future green-house gas reduction targets and the inclusion of the Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) sector – which will be merged with the Agricultural sector in the future to form the AFOLU sector – it is not clear how REDD+ will come into play. Thus this area focuses on policies related to the future implementation of REDD+ in the framework of UNFCCC.
