Welcome to Centre for Biological Control (CBC)

Centre for Biological Control is a new research centre that will contribute to the development of new knowledge concerning biological control of pests and diseases. Focus is on the use of living organisms in this control.

Biological control has a great potential to restrict the damage caused by harmful organisms within agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry and aquaculture. In plant production, biocontrol applications are viable options in the whole production chain, from seed to end produce.

At CBC we are conducting research regarding sustainable control methods and wish to collaborate with other research groups within the area. A close cooperation with stakeholders, such as growers, industry, authorities and organisations is also an important part of the CBC activities.

Welcome to contact us if you have any questions regarding activities in the centre, or interest in research collaboration, assignments or evaluations.
