Moose Health 2013

The first international workshop that focus on challenges related to health of the iconic moose. Invited speakers from North America, continental Europe and, of course, our neighbor scandinavians.

The moose is an iconic species of the northen hemisphere and one of our largest ungulates. The global moose populations provide a substantial amount of meat for human consumption, but also recreation, rich experiences and a platform for a growing ecotourism industry. Thus, the health of our moose population is of great societal concern.
