Genetic Resources and Intellectual Property Rights (GRIP)

Welcome to GRIP

Genetic Resources and Intellectual Property Rights (GRIP) is an advanced international training program financed by Sida organized by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. The overall aim of the program is to enhance managerial and technical skills in the field of IP, contribute to processes of change and development in the participants’ organizations and provide guidance in the policy formation of intellectual property and innovation systems.

Target groups

The training program aims to various targeted participants from the government sector, national R&D institutions and private sector organizations in charge of managing and defining regulatory/policy IPR and ABS frameworks on genetic resources and related information.

Eligibility

Sida’s international training programs have global coverage and participants should come from low- and middle income countries.
