Plant Link

Plant Link is a newly formed alliance between Lund University
and Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Alnarp
(SLU Alnarp) with support from the Skåne Regional Council (Region Skåne). The aim is to strengthen the collaboration between
scientists and build an internationally recognized research center which integrates basic and applied research focused on plants. Our vision is to increase the competence in this research area. We want to create an environment that promotes innovation and leads to a dynamic interaction between the universities and commercial enterprises.

Vision

Our vision is to create a strong international plant research center in the South of Sweden. Through Plant Link, SLU Alnarp and Lund University will join forces to strengthen the research within the areas of plant biotechnology, plant breeding and stress biology in plants. Our ambition is to build an education program combining the expertise of researchers at SLU and Lund University to expand the knowledge within these areas. By new, innovative activities we want to contribute to increased interaction between the universities and plant industry.
