SLU Holding AB (Inc.) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) with own governance.
SLU Holding facilitates the transfer of SLU's outstanding research to the private sector for society’s use and benefit.
Our mission is to create economic growth and social development and welfare through commercialization of inventions, products and services generated within SLU.
SLU Holding has two main business activities:
Innovation Support - aim to help inventors in commercializing research results or ideas. It comprises e.g. business, legal and IPR advice as well as operation and negotiation support. The Innovation Support services are free of charge and confidential.
Venture Capital - SLU Holding provides seed capital as well as follow up investments. Revenues that business activities generate are solely reinvested in future inventions and projects benefitting the university.
SLU Holding currently manages seven portfolio companies as well as several strategic holdings.
