The Swedish Forestry Agency has recently presented its annual statistical yearbook on their website www.skogsstyrelsen.se. This publication which is also availble in printed form is part of Sweden Official Statistics and presents current statistics about the status and changes in Sweden's forests and forestry sector. SLU, via the National Forest Inventory, contributes a significant proportion of the forest statistics and is also the responsible editor for the chapter 'Forest and Forestland'.
