Course Leader: Ecology and Management of Diseases and Pests of Forest Trees

The goal of this course is to provide understanding and skills relating to the biology of insects and fungi and how insects and microorganisms interact with forest and trees. Emphasis is put on species which affect trees and forest ecosystems with a high impact on forest economy.

Analyst at the SLU Forest Damage Centre

The work includes investigating the risk for national outbreaks, compiling knowledge and providing support in the event of outbreaks or other incidents.

A Coordinator for IUFRO working party 7.03.04 Diseases and Insects in Forest Nurseries

The 7.03.04 Working Party exchanges information and current research on insects and diseases that have impact on forest nurseries.
