Teresa Montràs Janer

Postdoctoral researcher at the Landscape ecology unit. My research seeks to understand how the interaction of climate change and land-use change shape species distributions and patterns of biodiversity across different temporal and spatial scales. I am also interested in the modelling and analytical applications intended to capture and investigate patterns and processes of spatial and spatio-temporal ecological data.

Background

During my PhD, I investigated spatial and temporal patterns of large grazing birds (geese, swans and cranes) and the crop damage they cause to guide management practices (https://slupub.slu.se/converis/mypages/browse/Publication/156923703).

Previously, I collaborated with the Great Reed Warbler team from Lund University on bird migration ecology research, and worked as a field ornithologist and bird ringer in Spain, UK, Canada, Colombia, Australia, Israel, Denmark and Sweden.
