New faces

Francois Joly is an exchange student coming from France. He will be working with Johanna and Jonàs for 5 and a half months. He will work on a project aiming at correlating H. fraxineus and D. pinea spore releases with weather conditions. He will basically work with qPCR, and he will be sitting at the computer room for now.
Antonio Rizzi is here on a Eramus+ trainieeship from Università degli Studi del Molise, Italy. He will be here until July working on a project regarding Phytophthora communities in forest soils together with Jan and Johanna.
Lea Atanasova is a visiting scientist from the Technical University in Vienna, Austria. She will be here for three months and work with pectin lyases in Clonostachys.
  Huda Khan will assist Sadhna and Björn in their project on faba beans.
She will start at January 12th.
 

Lill Eilertsen is currently doing her Master thesis lab work at the Department with the help of Kerstin Varenius, Anders and Maria.

Jonas Törngren started his master thesis work on the 1st of September. 
He will do a population study on Puccinia coronata causing crown rust on oats together with Anna Berlin and Jonathan Yuen.
