YMCA Hostel

Akutrumsförmedlingen (the Emergency Housing Office)
If you cannot find accommodation you are welcome to contact Umeå’s Emergency Housing Office for assistance. They act as a mediator for newly accepted university students and a number of landlords in Umeå. Akutrumsförmedlingen can discuss different accommodation options with you, and may help you find a room in a shared apartment or house.
Akutrumsförmedlingen is located at the YMCA-office (KFUM) in the city centre and is commissioned by the local government in Umeå. You can find more information on their website: www.akutrum.kfum.nu.
