Infection Biology, 120 credits
In-depth knowledge of infection biology is needed in work to improve health. There is a growing demand for expertise in this field, particularly in the developing world, where microbial infections are more prevalent, often with devastating consequences.
This programme, in collaboration with Uppsala University, focuses on the biological and chemical processes behind the aetiology, epidemiology and evolution of microbial infections, as well as ways of predicting, preventing, tracking and treating infectious diseases.
