Tell us about your time at SLU
I came here together with my girlfriend. We are now married. There was lots of socialising and partying while on exchange. But it was also very valuable for me academically. I got to practice my Swedish language skills while in Sweden, and also perfect my English. I met lots of people and made many friends who I am still in contact with to this day.
What was the best thing about studying at SLU?
My time at SLU was really important for my career. I got to take interesting courses that were not being offered at home. I learnt about new fields of research and the teaching was of such a high quality. I was so impressed with the informal relationships between teachers and students at SLU. It was so face-to-face, and the teachers were always available to help. It was a very well-organised exchange program.
Would you recommend going on exchange to SLU to others?
Yes, it was such a precious time for me. I recommend it to everyone.
