Orientation Programme

It is very important for new students to attend orientation.  The programme is designed to introduce new students, such as yourself, to SLU and to Sweden, providing you with necessary information and useful tips to assist and guide you through your time as a student. 

During orientation, you will be informed of the most important resources available to you at SLU, such as the library, computer system, and student unions.  You will also be able to collect your computer ID and password.

For international students, attending the orientation programme is especially important, as it allows you to meet fellow students and learn more about Swedish culture and everyday life.  You will be given guided tours of the campus and the city and some programmes even offer an introduction to Swedish language. 

When planning your trip to Sweden, please make sure that you arrive in time to start the orientation programme.
