Support efforts to achieve "Reduced Climate Impact"

The aim of the programme is to support efforts to achieve the "Reduced Climate Impact" environmental objective. In the near term priority is being given to Sweden's international climate reporting in the land-use, land-use change and forestry sectors. Results are used to monitor compliance with the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol.

Ola Langvall, coordinator:

"Climate change will affect our ecosystems and thereby impact agriculture and forestry. It is therefore important that we begin to identify the main risks and formulate strategies for adapting our agriculture and forestry.
