Report species sightings

Become a citizen scientist and contribute to the knowledge on the Swedish flora and fauna!

Report species sightings.

The Species Observation System is an independent site for collecting sightings of species. The site is maintained by the Swedish Species Information Centre in collaboration with NGO:s and a stakeholder council, Artportalsrådet.

A new version of the web site has been launched. In the new system, you can report all species groups - amphibians & reptiles, bugs, fish, fungi, mammals, vascular plants - exept birds. Birds are still reported in the older version of the Species Observation System:

During the autumn of 2014 the reporting of birds will preliminary be moved into the new version of the Species Observation System.
