Open seminar: Elsa Reimerson on Indigenous peoples and protected areas.

Elsa Reimerson is holding an open seminar on “Discursive positioning and constructions: Indigenous peoples and protected areas” This is a part of CBM:s seminar series CONCEPTUALISATIONS OF NATURE.

Foto: Umeå universitetThis seminar series aims to stimulate a discussion on concepts related to environmental policy and practice, such as ‘biodiversity’, ‘sustainable development’, ‘ecosystem services’, ‘landscape’ and even ‘nature’ itself.The seminar series consists of 5 presentations in total. The lectures will be recorded. The presentations will be approximately 1 hour in length, followed by an extended 1 hour discussion. Elsa Reimerson is our second invited researcher. The seminars will be held in English.
