Discussion with researcher

On June 15, SLU Alnarp hosts the visit of Dr Tim Crews, director of research at the Land Institute, Kansas, USA. Tim’s research is about the development of perennial food crops, among others the perennial cereal "Kernza" that is included in one of SLUs cropping systems experiments at the SITES research station Lönnstorp, Alnarp, and Tim collaborates with several colleagues at SLU. Tim is also one of the researchers who is interviewed in the SVT-documentary Sista skörden  (https://www.svtplay.se/video/13357996/sista-skorden/sista-skorden-1).

During Tim’s visit, a discussion session will be organized around some of the questions that are brought up in the documentary. Researchers, students and other interested (both within and outside SLU) are warmly welcome to join the discussion, which will be held at 13.00-14.00, June 15. Room will be anounced when we know how many persons that will join the discussion.
