Studies of different pests and their natural enemies on agricultural and horticultural crops in both field and greenhouse.
Chemical ecology
Studies of how chemical communication works, using mainly insects as models.

Studies of how plants defend themselves against pests, mainly fungal infections.
Nematologi
Analyses of nematodes.
