Undergraduate studies

The department is giving courses about available tools for analysing trends in the environment, and assessment of environmental quality. We are also disseminating a critical and knowledge based attitude to environmental data and environmental reports.

The department is responsible for the following courses:

Basic level:

Miljöanalys (5 credits)
Självständigt arbete i biologi (15 credits)
Självständigt arbete i miljövetenskap (15 credits).

Avanced level:

Applied Environmental Assessment (10 credits)
Ecotoxicology (10 credits),
Risk assessment of soil and water (5 credits)
Integrated Water Resource Governance (15 hp)
Water Resource Dilemmas, Uncertainty and Complexity: The Biophysical Basis (10 hp)
Project course: Soil and Water management (5 credits)
Project course: Pollutant-effects in the environment (5 credits)
Independent project in biology (D level, 30 credits)
Independent work in environmental science (D level, 30 credits).
Independent project in biology (E level, 30 credits)
Independent work in environmental science (E level, 30 credits).

The department is also involved in a number of other courses with water related parts, e.g.: Energisystemens miljöpåverkan (10 credits) och Ecology (15 credits), Energi och miljö (5 credits) och Watershed management with focus on eutrophication (10 credits)

The department is also running the masters program Integrated Water Resource Management.
