Our activities
We carry out research and development on sustainable production of wood biomass, mainly for energy purposes, and on the possibilities of using quick-growing deciduous trees as filter vegetation for dealing with waste products from society. We are mainly concentrating on species within the genus Salix, Populus, Betula and Alnus. We also provide courses within several undergraduate degree programmes at SLU and full post-graduate degrees.
