The Department of Economics at SLU has been co-operating with the Institute of Agricultural Economics (IAE) at St Cyril and Methodius University in Macedonia since 2000. The aim of our joint project is to contribute to an improved Macedonian capacity for policy formulation and for performing economic analyses related to trade, marketing, production, and processing in the agricultural sector. Both universities cooperate around a double degree master programme in Agricutural Economics and Business Administration given at Balkan International Centre for Agricutural Economics, BICA.

The project is financed by the Swedish International Development Agency, Sida.
