The farm as a pedacogical resource

Collaboration between schools and farms with the aim of using the farm as a pedagogical resource.  The farm offers a location with access to nature, animals and growing with the possibility of practical work in a real environment. Agriculture has a unique position to offer learning in a wide range of both school subjects and social skills on the basis of a practical reality. Food is an excellent starting point for discussions about health, sustainability, justice, resources and animal welfare.
