N leaching from forest soils
Modelling approaches and environmental monitoring data indicate a risk of elevated N leaching from forest soils in southern Sweden
In parts of Sweden nitrogen deposition recent decades has brought soils close to nitrogen saturation. Four different modelling approaches were used to assess the risk of nitrogen leaching from these types of forest soils.
