Landscape Architecture is the art of combining function, beauty, sustainability and economy in the design of man's build environment – in a broad sense, the landscape of man. The subject covers a wide field, from regional and city spatial planning to the design of ur ban spaces, with the awareness of the mutual dependence between these different levels. At the Unit for Landscape Architecture, we strive to increase people's quality of life by teaching, research and development of landscapes and of processes that are meaningful, beautiful and sustainable.
