Marketing and innovation research
In the Swedish wood industry, change, innovation, sustainable business development as well as moving closer to customers are all contemporary business issues. To capture these developments, The Swedish Forest Industries Federation, The Federation of Swedish Farmers and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences are co-financing a four year research programme 2006-2009, called MIK.
As well as creating new knowledge about contemporary business practices, our research findings also contribute to ensuring that courses in the department’s Masters Programme on Management of the Forest Products Industries are relevant and up-to-date.
Naturally, we also collaborate with researchers internationally and in related disciplines.
