Forest Industrial Economy
The undergraduate education at the Department of Forest Products consists primarily of course blocks Forest Industrial Economy and Forestry Real Estate. Forest Industrial Economy is a two year course orientated primarily for Forestry and Economy program students. It is however also open for students with other backgrounds. Forestry Real Estate is given as a complement to courses within SLU´s other education programs in order to fulfil the requirements for theoretical education of the Real Estate Brokers Board.
Master of Science in European Forestry
Further education includes courses within the NOVA “Master of Science in European Forestry” program and also undergraduate education in Forest Management that are primarily orientated for students in the Agriculture program. The Department also provides opportunities for Master Thesis in the following subject areas: Business Administration, Forest Management and Biology; in most cases with strong connections with forest industry companies.
