Wood coating
Research in this area is concentrated on the performance and resistance of painted wood outdoors to fungal attack (i.e. house facades, window frames, fences, etc). Fundamental aspects such as interactions between the wood surface and coatings as well as paint formulations, paint film structure, fungicidal properties and fungal biology are studied.
