Postgraduate education

The Department has a strong tradition of research education in Animal Science (including Animal Hygiene, Animal Nutrition and Management, Ethology, Animal Welfare, and Production Diseases). The studies normally finish by a licentiate or doctoral (PhD) degree. We have no regular PhD positions, because most of our postgraduate education is funded externally and project-based.
