Welcome to BVF

Department of Biomedical Sciences and Veterinary Public Health (BVF) conducts research on animal health, food safety and environmental health. We are responsible for about one third of the undergraduate education in the veterinary programme in the disciplines bacteriology, virology, parasitology, immunology, pathology, pharmacology, toxicology, food safety and epizootiology. A total of about 100 people are employed at the BVF of which approximately 25 are doctoral students.
