Doctoral School of Earth Sciences and Ecology. The scool works to improve the efficiency of doctoral studies in environmental sciences, to raise the quality of supervision of Ph.D students, to increase innovation by means of national and international interdisciplinary co operation and to enhance the quality and capacity of competitive research and development in natural science by promoting joint activities of univesities.

Svenskt Vatten - The Swedish Water & Wastewater Association, SWWA. The Swedish Water & Wastewater Association was set up by the municipalities in 1962 to assist with technical, economic and administrative issues and to represent the interests of the municipalities in negotiations with authorities and other organisations on regulations etc. 

SoilSoc - Nordic network on Soils & Society. The SoilSoc network brings together teachers, students and researchers on the multidisciplinary field of soil sciences. SoilSoc is one of the subject networks under NOVA University Network, a collaboration platform of the agricultural, forestry and veterinary universities and faculties in all the five Nordic countries.

Research School for Socio-Economic and Natural Sciences of the Environment (SENSE, the Netherlands). SENSE organises courses and meetings for PhD students and researchers from both SENSE partners and outside of SENSE. The research focuses on both the natural sciences and socio-economic fields of environmental research.

VALUE - Doctoral School in Integrated Catchment and Water Resources Management (Finland). VALUE provides the frameworks for improved cooperation between social sciences and water related technical and ecological sciences as well as for their joint graduate education.

Eawag, Institute for aquatic research (Switzerland). Eawag is among the world’s leading aquatic research institutes. Its strengths and successes are based on a long-established portfolio of activities – research, education and consulting & knowledge transfer.

The International Research School in Water Resources. The International Research School in Water Resources is a partnership between 9 universities, government and private research institutes in Denmark. The objective is to strengthen and coordinate the research education in Denmark within water resources and to establish a scientific forum for exchange of knowledge and research results.
