Would you like to be able to do group work in the evenings or borrow a book even after working late? Now you can! The Alnarp Library, the Hernquist Library (Skara), the Forestry Library, the Vetenery Library and the Ultuna Library extend their opening hours for you!
Extended opening hours means that ...
- students, researchers, teachers and other SLU staff have access to the library and learning resources beyond our regular staffed hours
- outside the library's regular staffed hours you gain access with your key card
Security guards will do their rounds in the library during the evening.
The contract you signed for your key card also covers the access to the library during extended opening hours. Please be careful not to let unauthorised persons in.
Extended opening hours at the Alnarp Library
- All days 07.00-11.00 (the same as computer labs Ladan and Stallet)
- The information desk is open Monday – Thursday 09.00-18.00, Friday 09.00-16.00
New manned opening hours from the turn of the year:
Monday-Thursday 9.00-16.30, Friday 9.00-15.00
Extended opening hours at the Forestry Library
- All days 24/7
- The information desk is open Monday – Friday 08.30-15.00

- All days 06.00-22.00
- Staffed opening hours: Monday – Friday 08.30-16.00
Extended opening hours at the Ultuna Library
- All days 06.00 - 23.00 (the same as LRC)
- Staffed opening hours: Monday - Friday 10.00-15.00
