Since February 2008, the SLU has an Open Access policy asking researchers to publish their results as Open Access whenever possible.
Open Access means that scientific findings, e.g. peer-reviewed journal articles, are made available free of charge on the Internet, for example in the Epsilon Open Archive. This is of great importance to those who who otherwise have little or no means of accessing the texts, such as the general public and researchers in developing countries.
Make your findings Open Acces by publishing in an Open Access journal or by depositing a copy of your already published article in the Epsilon Open Archive, so called parallel publishing.
