International databases and search engines for the web. We will adjust the course to suit your requirements. Some examples of sources are: CAB, Web of Science, BIOSIS, Scopus, ASSIA, Google Scholar, Scirus.

How can you use social bookmarking, e g Delicious and CiteUlike, to organize links to webpages or documents, find others with the same interests as you, search among other's bookmarks or format references?
Evaluating journals with Journal Citation Reports
JCR valuates scientific journals by citation data, shows the most frequently cited journals and calculates the impact factor. JCR can be a valuable tool when choosing what journal to publish your paper in.
