Instructions for Microsoft Word 2007

Template files for Microsoft Word 2007 have the extention .dotx or .dotm.

The template files should be downloaded before installation.

Install the template files

1. Right click the template file to be installed and choose "Copy".
2. Open Word. Click the Office button > New.
3. In the left pane in the window New Document click "My Templates...".
4. In the window New, right click the pane containing the existing templates and choose "Paste". 

Open a new document with the template

1. Click the Office button > New.
2. In the left pane in the window New Document click "My Templates...".
3. Choose the desired template in the window New.

Templates with the file extention .dotm contain macros. You must enable the macros by clicking the Options button and choose to enable the macros in the Microsoft Office Security Options dialog box.

Save the new file

Important! Templates with the file extention .dotm contain macros. To avoid the macros to be disabled you must choose the file type Word Macro-Enabled Document (.docm) when saving the new file for the first time.
