Instructions for Microsoft Word 2010

Template files for Microsoft Word 2010 have the extention .dotx or .dotm.

The template files should be downloaded before installation.

Install the template files

1. Right click the template file to be installed and choose "Copy".
2. Open Word. Click the File tab > New.
3. In the upper area of the pane opening click "My Templates".
4. In the window New, right-click the pane containing the existing templates and choose "Paste". 

Open a new document with the template

1. Click the File tab > New.
2. In the upper area of the pane opening click My Templates.
3. Choose the desired template in the window New.

Templates with the file extention .dotm contain macros. You must enable the macros by clicking the "Enable Content" button.

Save the new file

Important! Templates with the file extention .dotm contain macros.To avoid the macros to be disabled you must choose the file type Word Macro-Enabled Document (.docm) when saving it for the first time.
