OA-week 2012
It is the 6th year of Open access week, a global international event making the world aware of Open access publishing (OA-publishing) and the pertinent changes in conditions and new possibilities of scientific interaction. In certain scientific domains, OA-publishing is already a well-developed praxis and it has recently received a strong support by research funders.
Which forms of scientific interaction are most significant for enhancement of scientific impact? How do OA-environments influence scientific interaction? How do OA-environments contribute to development and exchange of communication between researchers’ publications and social actors interested in SLU:s research domains? These are only some of the questions that the international OA-week addresses!
During the OA-week, SLU-library arranges own events and has also selected a number of other national and international interesting events from the OA-week’s rich global program. Have a look in the list suggested below and enjoy the possibility to participate in the seminars close to you and/or even to participate from your own working place / home in OA- webinars about visibility, accessibility and impact of your scientific work!
