
The Historical Maps website is a presentation of large parts of Lantmäteriet's (the National Land Survey of Sweden) unique collection of historical maps. The collection comprises more than a million maps from the years 1628-1927.
Downloading and printing
Anyone can search and view the maps and other documentation. To get access to the maps in a digital format, send your request to one of the contact persons at the SLU Libraries, or alternatively, one of the GIS Coordinators. To get the right document for you we need the following information: archive, county, municipality or parish, year and task.
Terms of use
SLU students and staff may freely use the historical maps in works published within the university, both i print and in digital format.
