The SLU websites consist of the external web (www.slu.se), the staff web (https://internt.slu.se) and the student web (https://student.slu.se). All departments and other units have their own sub-websites at www.slu.se.
You navigate SLU's websites by using the menu below the header area, or by using the buttons and links on the start page. The websites for staff and students respectively, can be accessed through the links at the top of the page. You can always see where in the site structure the current page is located by checking the breadcrumb trail at the top of each page, below the menu bar.
Browsers and accessibility
We endeavour to make the websites accessible for everyone, regardless of what device you are using – computer, phone or tablet. For the best results, we recommend a modern browser such as Chrome or Internet Explorer. We also strive to follow the guidelines for accessible web sites (WCAG 2.0, level AA).

Who is responsible for the website?
The Division of Communication has the overall responsibility for content, structure and design of the SLU websites. The Division of Student Affairs and Learning Development manages the SLU student web. Each administrative unit, faculty, department, collaborative centre etc. is responsible for maintaining their own pages. Each page on the site should have information about who to contact in case of questions, as well as the date when the page was last updated.
Web pages on activities linked to SLU that are not part of the university website, such as those of collaborative centres, may have a different design and be managed differently.
You can always set up your browser to avoid storing cookies, or to display a message when a page contains cookies. However, this may mean that some functionality will not be available.
The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority, which monitors electronic communications in Sweden, has more information about cookies on their website www.pts.se.

SLU will process personal data if you e.g. apply for a course or programme, register for a conference organised by SLU or apply for a vacant post. SLU will store this information in order to manage and follow up your application.
In accordance with Section 26 of the Personal Data Act (1998:204) you may, once every calendar year, request information on whether any personal data concerning you has been processed by SLU. This applies regardless of whether this data has been collected via the website or another channel. If you want this information you must submit a signed request, the request cannot be sent via email.
Visitors to the SLU website do not have the right to freely download and reuse text or images from the website. If you wish to get in touch with one of our photographers, or if you wish to buy the right to use images or text from our websites, please contact the Division of Communication's web editors.
News articles and press material published on the SLU websites may be quoted and reused as long as the source is indicated. They may not be used commercially without prior authorisation, or in a way that may harm the university. The website design may not be copied and used for other purposes.
