18 November 2010 SLU alumni meeting in Kampala

As part of the research schools objective to strengthen networks and partnerships with stakeholders in the field of Natural Resource Management and Livelihoods (NRML) in international development, the school organized a side event for SLU Alumni and partners during the Conference on Higher Education in Agriculture in Africa (CHEA). The conference was hosted by the Regional Universities Forum (RUFORUM), the Government of Uganda and Makerere University between 15- 19 November 2010.

The Vice Chancellor Lisa Sennerby Forse was one of the invited speakers during the conference and she also officiated the SLU-Africa Alumni meeting held on 18 November in Kampala. The theme for the meeting was “SLU in Africa – Africa in SLU”.
