The Experimental Forests and the associated research stations are part of the Swedish LTER Network.

Asa LTER

Asa LTER is defined of the Normal and High-yield Experimental Forests, the Asa Research Station, together with tree catchments; Sandbäcken och Ängavägen in Asa and the IM site in Aneboda.

Tönnersjöheden LTER

 Tönnersjöheden LTER consists of two sites, the Tönnersjöheden and the Skarhult Experimental Forests. 

Facts:

LTER Sweden is a network of Swedish research stations and other sites that are dedicated to long-term environmental monitoring and ecological research. The network is open to sites that can live up to the regulations stated by the LTER Sweden and its mother organization LTER Europe.
