The conditions for animal husbandry and cultivation of plants for production of food and other products are very much affected by global processes and climate change. To meet these challenges scientifically-based knowledge is needed.‘Future Agriculture – livestock, crops and land use’ is a strategic multi- and interdisciplinary research programme at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences that focus the sustainable use of natural resources with emphasis on agricultural production and land use.
