Manager for Sida’s external expert advice for environmental assessment (Helpdesk)
The helpdesk assignment includes;
Integration of the environmental dimension (including climate change, ecosystems services, disaster risk reduction), in Sida policies, plans, programmes and projects preparation and decision making processes;
Applying EIA logic in review and assessment of development cooperation project proposals;
Reviewing and advising Sida partners in development and implementation of environmental management systems;
Providing capacity development and methods development.
Area of interests
Areas of interests is food security, production systems and natural resources management. This includes e.g. agriculture, agribusiness, animal husbandry, fisheries, forestry, biodiversity, land management, rural livelihood and development, soil and water conservation, risk management, water supply and sanitation, (incl ecological sanitation) and water resources management.

Training courses for Swedish Embassy staff (Sida staff) on climate change mitigation and adaptation (2008-2010).
